Biographical note
Arnaldo Camuffo is Professor of Management at the Department of Management & Technology, Bocconi University, Milan where he is also Co-Director of the ION Management Science Lab at the SDA-Bocconi School of Management. After getting an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT (1989) and a PhD from the University of Venice (1990), he taught at the University of Venice and Padua and held visiting position at the Industrial Performance Center at MIT and the University of Michigan, Dearborn. His research has appeared in leading international journals (including Management Science, Organization Science, Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal) and his books have been widely publicized. He has served in the editorial board of several management journals, won scholarly awards and played various roles in the management scholarly community.

His recent paper “Curbing the Addition Bias: Scientific Approaches and Propensity to Subtract in Entrepreneurial Ideas Development” (co-authored with Diego Jannace) has won the Best Empirical Paper Award (Entrepreneurship Division) at the 2023 Academy of Management Conference, Boston.
