About

I am a global and business historian. My core research focuses on global history of commodity markets and plantation economy in Southeast Asia; cities and clusters in historical perspective; and business history of emerging markets since the 19th century.

Recently, I started new projects on historical entrepreneurship and business ethics in different historical and geographical contexts.
